"Snail Trail"

Creator: Gianna Sellecchia and Gwen Du-Thumm (Animator)

A small blue snail begins its journey beside a potted tomato plant, following a long trail of red thread. It moves steadily across cluttered shelves and messy floors, encountering unexpected moments along the way. With every turn, the question remains: where its path will lead and whom it might meet next.

Collection

Stop-mo Capsule is a digital collection archive documenting selected student stop-motion works from Pratt Institute’s School of Art and Animation. The archive extends the second biennial Stop-Motion Show, held at the Pratt Brooklyn Campus Library and Archives in 2026, by preserving access to films, puppets, props, sketches, process materials, and 3D scans after the physical exhibition.

Student creators retain ownership of their individual works. Materials are shared for educational, archival, and research purposes only. Do not reproduce, distribute, exhibit, or commercially use images, videos, 3D scans, metadata, or process materials without permission from the appropriate creator, rights holder, or custodian.
