"Rebirth of Nature"

Creator: Amelia Bianchi, Jackie Yau

Inspired by ancient Chinese forest deities, a nature spirit wanders gently through the woods, awakening plants and flowers with every step. When a careless human brings fire, the peaceful forest is reduced to ash. Yet from the scorched earth, one small green shoot rises, hinting that nature may endure.

Stop-mo Capsule is a digital collection archive documenting selected student stop-motion works from Pratt Institute’s School of Art and Animation. The archive extends the second biennial Stop-Motion Show, held at the Pratt Brooklyn Campus Library and Archives in 2026, by preserving access to films, puppets, props, sketches, process materials, and 3D scans after the physical exhibition.
